Я это плохо помню и знаю из рассказов бабушки, каким в детстве я был домовитым. Димитрий Арзуманов Я сам не из многодетной семьи. У моих родителей был резус-конфликт, а это и сегодня, при нынешнем уровне медицины – сложность, а несколько десятилетий назад тем более. Врачи говорили, что могут быть проблемы с моим рождением, пугали, что я потом всю жизнь буду не в себе… Мои родители очень любили друг друга, хотя, конечно, у них были конфликты, и я их видел. Но это было не так страшно, ведь перед глазами были их любовь и взаимопонимание, они были очень похожи, в том числе по интеллектуальному уровню, им было интересно друг с другом. И меня очень радовало, что я родился именно в этой семье. И я чувствую, что уклад моей семьи идет от родительской, а ее правила и установки, в свою очередь, от семей бабушек-дедушек. Кстати, мой дед был многодетным – у них с бабушкой было пять детей, несмотря на то, что он прошел войну и время тогда было не самое легкое. А у прадеда было 12 детей, у прапрадеда – 15 детей. Я сразу понял – вот она! Если бы я не встретил Машу, наверное, не женился бы никогда: всерьез тогда подумывал о монашестве. Познакомились мы так: я, выпускник консерватории, пианист, подрабатывал в разных местах, в том числе концертмейстером в ансамбле виолончелистов. А Маша, выпускница музыкальной школы по классу виолончели, ходила в этот ансамбль играть для собственного удовольствия, сама она в это время училась в университете. Димитрий Арзуманов Я как-то сразу понял, что вот она, единственная, с которой хочется прожить всю жизнь. У нее, как оказалось, были схожие чувства. Не помню никаких «притирок», ничего из ряда вон выходящего не происходило. Я никогда не задавал себе вопросов: как вот быть в этой ситуации или в той. Как-то у нас всё само, с Божьей помощью, разрешалось. Может, потому, что мы с самого начала семейной жизни ходили с матушкой в храм и молились вместе? Когда мы только повенчались, оказалось, что моя Маша может готовить только два блюда, первое из которых яичница, а второе – курица в духовке. Ну, разве это повод для недопониманий? Тем более я с детства очень любил и умел готовить, у меня отец очень хорошо готовил и мама. Я сказал, что готовить буду сам, и первые два года это было на мне. А потом матушка научилась готовить сама и теперь готовит гораздо лучше меня. Размолвок у нас никогда не было, разве только мое желание стать священником стало для матушки неожиданностью. Ей было это очень сложно принять, потому что это накладывает определенные тяготы не только на мужчину, который становится священником, но и на его жену. Она к этому была не совсем готова и честно говорила мне об этом. Но, поскольку у нас всё было общее, матушка понесла эту ношу. Мне очень повезло, я – счастливый человек, потому что моя вторая половинка – всегда поддержит, поймет. В священническом служении это очень важно. При первых родах матушка чуть не погибла «С ума сошли, столько детей рожать? Нищету плодите?» – это говорили нам и в 90-е, когда появились старшие дети, и потом можно было услышать подобное. Говорили даже самые близкие люди… Много у нас в обществе негативных расхожих крылатых выражений по поводу деторождения, не хочется их вспоминать даже. Просто рождение детей не угодно врагу рода человеческого. И он старается всех людей отвести, всячески так надсмехаться, опорочить, отсоветовать. Это во все времена было. Димитрий Арзуманов Появление всех детей – радость, начиная с первой дочки. Первые роды были трудными, матушка моя чуть не погибла. Это я позднее, набравшись опыта, заранее стал искать врачей-профессионалов, да еще верующих. А тогда ей что-то вкололи и состояние стало ухудшаться на глазах. Слава Богу, там нашелся хороший доктор, анестезиолог, хотя и пьяненький, но, видимо, очень опытный. Если бы он не оказался рядом, всё было бы очень плохо. А так – он понял, в чем дело, вколол лекарство, смягчающее действие первого… Но после Маша два месяца не могла прийти в себя, и было очень сложно в бытовом плане. Родители Маши работали, мои жили в другом городе, хотя и старались приезжать к нам на электричках в выходные. А я работал – нужно было кормить семью. И при этом – помогать по хозяйству. На самом деле тогда, в девяностые, мы справлялись с бытом всё-таки проще – были молодыми. Я вообще мог не спать нормально несколько суток, мог прикорнуть на час, два и был бодрым, бегал, всё делал. Сейчас это невозможно. Девяностые, в магазинах – пусто, помню, как-то на Пасху как праздничное блюдо мы готовили минтай. Но вот при всём этом было радостно. И сегодня мы очень светло вспоминаем это время. Поспать до 10 утра – это праздник У нас не было и нет жесткого распределения – вот это мужские обязанности по дому, а это – женские. Старюсь всегда помогать матушке. Могу и суп приготовить, и пропылесосить. Просто надо смотреть, что необходимо сделать в данный конкретный момент. Димитрий Арзуманов Еще зона моей ответственности – отвезти, привезти детей в школу на кружки, на занятия. Это всё отнимает очень много времени. Помощников у нас с матушкой нет, проблема, как всё успеть, действительно серьезная. Но мы не унываем. Сколько успели, столько успели. Остались недоделанные дела? Ничего – в сутках 24 часа и ничего не поделаешь… Если служебный день, то надо встать очень рано и бежать в храм, отслужить литургию, молебны. Потом – какие-то дела по строительству, совещания, требы. Затем нужно помочь дома – у детей кружки, занятия. Бывает так, что и матушка возит, и я вожу, и едва поспеваем, потому что детей много, занятия пересекаются. Есть у взрослой части нашей семьи некоторые увлечения. Допустим, занятия иностранным языком, византийским пением. Я еще пытаюсь не забыть игру на фортепьяно. Правда, это у меня очень плохо получается и времени нет. Вообще, я не человек расписания и каждый день оно бывает разным. Бывают какие-то дни, когда можно просто выспаться, поспать часов до 10, до 11, и это праздник. Но очень редкий. Когда родился пятый, стало очень легко Когда у нас было трое детей, было очень сложно и тяжело: и матушке, и мне. А вот когда родился четвертый, стало почему-то легче, а когда пятый, совсем стало легко. Сейчас, когда трое, двое дома остаются, а остальные куда-то ушли, кажется, что дома нет никого. Привыкаешь, наверное. Димитрий Арзуманов Хотя на детей тратится всё свободное время. Они же требуют внимания, то кто-то ссорится, что-то кто-то поджигает, что-то рвет, кто-то что-то бросает, кто-то упал, кто-то порезался, кто-то обжегся. Еще, конечно, детские болезни. Не дай Бог, кого-то надо в больницу положить, значит, матушка ложится с ребенком в больницу, а я справляюсь с остальными. Когда у нас было четыре ребенка, я служил в городе Кашине Тверской области. У меня была машина, и даже если она ломалась, меня подвозили горожане, если нужно было куда-то ехать с детьми. То есть я выходил из дому, начинал движение, проходил метров двадцать, как останавливалась чья-то машина и ее владелец спрашивал: «Батюшка, вас подвезти?» А в Москве всё просто рядом. Димитрий АрзумановВообще могу сказать, вспоминая службу в Кашине, что уровень жизни в российской деревне и в Москве – совершенно разный. В Москве у нас всё под рукой. Когда приехали в Кашин, воду приходилось носить. Белье матушка полоскать ходила на речку, а стирала дома, в тазу. Машинка была, но она всё время ломалась, да и подключать ее было не к чему – воды-то не было. Так вот, матушка ходила на речку, полоскала белье. Технология, чтобы руки не замерзли осенью и зимой, такая: сначала на руку надевается шерстяная перчатка, а сверху – длинная резиновая, чтобы не намокло всё это. Детей у нас тогда было четверо, все мал мала, поэтому пеленок было очень много… Хорошо, что взрослеют, начинают помогать. У нас уже Варюша замужем, Колька женился. Степа и Лиза еще с нами живут, они – студенты второго курса. Они очень сильно помогают, особенно Лиза. Лиза вообще у меня уникальная барышня. С ней можно оставить четверых маленьких детей, двое из которых могут быть грудными, и можно быть спокойным, что ты придешь домой, и дети будут накормленные и чистые, дома будет чисто и готов обед. Вот такая у нас Лиза. Я шучу: «Лиза, я за тебя калым возьму побольше». И Степка молодец, всегда готов куда-то отвезти младших. Допустим, я неважно себя чувствую, а нужно кого-то в музыкалку отвезти, купить что-то по хозяйству или починить. Если нет ни Степы, ни Лизы дома, то приходится либо мне, либо матушке садиться в машину и везти. У нас как-то не принято говорить: «Знаете, я устал и идите все вон, я не буду этого делать». Как священник я знаю, что такая позиция, к сожалению, встречается порой у мужей и жен. Бывает, я прихожу вечером уставший, прибегают дети с вопросами, рассказами. Если без меня не обойтись, и я понимаю, что действительно нужно, то приходится решать. А если понимаю, что это какая-то блажь, терпит некоторого отлагательства, то прошу отложить разговор на завтра. Серьезная проблема – это, например, крупная детская ссора, которую нужно разрешить, и от этого не отмахнешься. Димитрий Арзуманов Нет времени, чтобы сесть за стол, сказать: сейчас я распределю свои силы, столько-то процентов я отдам этому ребенку, а столько-то процентов – этому. Семейная жизнь – постоянное движение, надо всё решать по мере возникновения проблем. «Мы полностью вручили себя в руки Божии» Священник зависит от своих прихожан, потому что именно они кормят своего батюшку и храм тоже содержат, по возможности. Поэтому я никогда не знаю, сколько денег у меня будет в этом месяце. Есть какой-то определенный доход, я получаю жалование от Русской Православной Церкви, но, конечно, его не хватит, чтобы прокормить такую большую семью. Димитрий АрзумановПоэтому всё остальное – это то, что мне жертвуют прихожане. При этом священник никогда не должен ничего просить. Если спрашивают: «Батюшка, а сколько это стоит?», ни один священник нормальный не скажет: «Это стоит столько-то». Он должен ответить: «Да это ничего не стоит». Но если священнику что-то пожертвуют, тоже нехорошо отказываться, потому что это обижает людей. Поэтому что дадут, то и слава Богу. Мы совершенно полностью вручили себя в руки Божии и не сомневаемся, что Господь нас не оставит, Он и не оставляет и всегда посылает под нужду. Нет какого-то избытка, но, слава Богу, все сыты, одеты, и если нужно куда-то поехать, куда-то уезжают. Нужно что-то приобрести необходимое, сапоги продырявились или что-то еще, посылает Господь. К тому же у многодетных есть скидки по оплате квартиры, жилищные субсидии, которые позволяют платить не полную стоимость за квартиру, а значительно меньше. Также есть другие льготы. Трудновато с жилищным вопросом. У нас четырехкомнатная квартира, и нам тесно. Мы должны были встать в очередь на расширение. Когда умер отец, я, понятное дело, маму – старую больную женщину – взял к себе. И теперь не могу встать в очередь на жилье, потому что «сознательно ухудшил свои жилищные условия». Я спросил у тех, кто отвечает за постановку в очередь, что мне нужно было сделать? В ответ услышал, что надо было или маму не прописывать, или сдать ее в дом престарелых. Несмотря на все сложности, мы стараемся, чтобы у каждого из детей был свой письменный стол, какой-то свой маленький уголок. У нас своей комнаты с матушкой уже нет, мы делим комнату с Анечкой, которой больше негде делать уроки, как только у нас. У нее здесь же рядом с моим столом ее парта. Лайфхаки многодетной семьи 1. Забота о членах семьи. Когда наша бабушка ложилась на серьезную операцию, каждый из наших детей сделал ей ангела: нарисовал и вырезал из картона и расписал. Восемь или девять ангелов появились у бабушкиной кровати и очень ее поддержали. Вот такие вещи, сделанные своими руками, поддержат заболевшего – и взрослого, и ребенка. 2. Обязательный отдых летом. В летнее время стараемся всегда уезжать из города в деревню всей семьей. Раньше получалось на целое лето, теперь – на месяц-два. 3. Молебен перед любой поездкой. Сборы у нас проходят почти так же, как в первом фильме «Один дома». Мы даже однажды Степу забыли, ему было семь лет, правда, почти на мгновение. Не знаю, что было бы, если бы мы отправлялись без молитвы. Так что перед поездкой мы стараемся отслужить молебен и читаем особенное правило схиархимандрита Виталия перед путешествием. 4. Покупать еду только на рынках. Стараемся покупать продукты на рынках, чтобы она была недорогой и более-менее качественной. Но последовательными быть получается не всегда. Не покупаем полуфабрикаты и консервы. 5. Жене и детям – новую одежду. Стараюсь покупать новое матушке, конечно, и детям. Сам я люблю носить старое, один раз в жизни купил себе куртку, и то потому, что было очень холодно и нужно было что-то экстренно приобрести. В остальном донашиваю одежду своих прихожан: приятно, когда она от человека, которого я люблю. В остальное время хожу в подряснике и редко надеваю светскую одежду. 6. Заготовки на зиму. Когда я служил в Тверской епархии, увлекался консервированием. У меня было всё – от консервов до бочек с капустой и помидорами. Были маринованные баклажаны, грузинская красная капуста. Не говорю уже просто про помидоры, огурцы, кабачки, патиссоны, варенья, соки, джемы. Мы и сами ели, и других угощали. Я так стресс снимал: вернусь уставший, до четырех утра – раз и закатаю баночек 20, и хорошо мне. Сейчас делаю только разные компоты в 3-литровых банках. На большее сил уже нет. Скверное чувство, которое в последнее время ощущаю и я, и матушка – усталость. Или сильная усталость, или просто усталость. Состояния бодрости нет уже давно. Но, с Божьей помощью, двигаемся дальше. Теория умножения любви Вообще, мы бы с матушкой хотели бы еще детей, но здесь уже как Бог даст. Димитрий АрзумановСейчас дети подросли, и мы с матушкой можем иногда уехать только вдвоем на дачу в Подмосковье, поговорить от души. А так обычно место наших встреч и бесед – кухня. Все легли спать, а мы с матушкой задержались на кухне, разговариваем, о чем-то думаем. Бывает, что иногда ссоримся, но ненадолго. Я не помню, чтобы, поспорив утром, к обеду бы не помирились. Мы знаем, что хорошо помириться первым, поэтому кто первый успеет, тот и примиряется первым. Я думаю, что каждый старается это сделать первым. На сердитых воду возят, как известно. За годы семейной жизни я понял, что есть теория умножения любви. Вот живут муж и жена, муж любит жену, жена любит мужа. У них появляется ребенок. Они любят еще и ребенка. У них любви стало больше. Появляется второй ребенок, и они любят второго. Появляется третий, и их любовь расширяется. Чем больше детей, тем больше любви. Человек расширяет сферу своей любви. То же самое делает жена, то же самое делают дети по отношению к своим родителям и своим братьям. То есть получается атмосфера такой большой любви. При том, что, бывает, дети ссорятся, да и супруги могут иногда поворчать друг на друга, но всё это мелочи по сравнению с главным – с любовью. В многодетных семьях, которые любят друг друга, в которых дети желанны, нет особенных проблем. Они такие же, как у всех. Родители так же ничего не успевают, так же переживают, когда дети болеют. Ну, бывает, трудно с финансами, и в начале года нужно сдавать сумму на нескольких детей, но, бывает, нам идут навстречу и предлагают сдать меньше. Вообще финансовые сложности, сложности со временем, усталость – всё это мелочи, на них не хочется и останавливаться. Это не проблемы. Проблема одна – когда дети болеют. Когда дети умирают. Наш старший сын Васенька разбился на велосипеде. Ему было 16 лет. Он 50 дней был в коме, врачи боролись за его жизнь, но Господь иначе судил. При том, что он был наш самый объективно хороший ребенок. Он был самый добрый, самый умный, спортивный, самый красивый и лучше всех учился. И мы с матушкой как-то смотрели на него со стороны и думали: «Ну, наверное, Господь его заберет, уж очень он хороший». Даже плакали потихонечку, глядя на то, какой он есть. Когда он стал взрослеть, появились влюбленности, мы вроде выдохнули: «Проскочили». Ну вот, не проскочили. Забрал его Господь от нас. Матушка думала, что не переживет этого, и я себя тоже очень плохо чувствовал. Все очень были потрясены. Но время прошло, а оно хоть как-то лечит. Потом сразу мы как-то поняли, что он спасся, и Господь его взял к Себе. Мы в этом не сомневались, не только мы, но и духовные люди, наши наставники. Димитрий Арзуманов Вот это вот проблема, понимаете. Поэтому, когда мне говорят, что сложно платить несколько сумм за школьников, мне хочется воскликнуть, что я готов был 3000 раз заплатить за всех, чтобы только такого не произошло, миллион раз заплатить. Я готов был отдать всё на свете, жить в сарае, только чтобы этого не было. Вот после этого о проблемах говорить не хочется. Всё остальное – это чушь.

I dont trust Putin I have my forebodings against the Russians, but I am sure that if there is an attack against them, they shall win the war. They are experts in the defensive war and they have a lot of stamina. Israel, Turkey and Poland ought to consider this statement. The West has no moral fibre to win and the spanish governement is stupid sending our troops to the Lituanian frontier to become  cannon flesh to the Russian infantry. That was what happened in 1943. Antonio Parra tuvo un sueño: ser corresponsal en Londres y ese sueño se materializó recién terminada su carrera de periodista y filólogo, a los 28 años. Una corresponsalía en la capital británica viene a ser como el mirlo blanco de los que ejercen el periodismo.  Antonio Parra, tuvo la suerte de contar para sus lectores de una cadena integrada por medio centenar de diarios españoles cómo era la vida británica antes de la llegada de Margaret Thatcher.

Y también le cupo la dicha de habitar una casa con fantasma en el barrio de South Kensington. Era el espíritu del Conde Kelly, un templario que regresaba a la que fue su morada. Algunas noches, picaba a la puerta y daba golpecitos en la pared, o se recogía en la bodega donde el periodista tenía el télex para enviar sus despachos a Madrid. Aquellas reminiscencias son el material de esta interesante novela donde la realidad se entremezcla con la ficción.

 

De una manera oblicua, intensa y rápida, y haciendo gala de un estilo moderno, no exento de ironía, el autor va narrando episodios de sus vivencias en aquella Inglaterra Feliz, la de los Beatles, la de las queimadas de Manolo Fraga en la embajada, los pactos, los consensos y contubernios, el amor, el desamor, desde el recuerdo de un tiempo que no volverá, sino a través de la magia de la literatura.

Fornecino viene de "fornax" horno porque en los lenocinios romanos había una caldera donde se calentaban en cueros vivos los cuerpos y pecaban las almas. De ahí viene fornicación asunto viejo del mundo y sin enmienda pues no hay solución para la pasión que quema. Y la fornicación alcanza los altos estrados, los palacios episcopales, los conventos, los cuerpos de guardia, las tiaras, los ministerios. El hombre es yesca y la mujer estopa. Bueno por donde empezamos. Una noticia conmueve a Inglaterra resulta que el primado anglicano arzobispo Welby no es hijo de su padre sino fruto de unos amores que tuvo su madre con el secretario de Winston Churchill.

Fumemos un puro en su memoria. La sede cantuariense hasta el cisma luterano era uno de los solios más importantes de la cristiandad. Ahora es un arzobispado que rinde honores a la Reina Elisabeth cabeza visible de la iglesia fundada por san Agustín y que tuvo prelados eminentes como Beckett y el propio Austin mártir de la fe por haber sido degollado por los sicarios del rey Ricardo III cuando se disponía a decir misa a pie de altar.  Fue cuna de las primeras victimas de la guerra de las Investiduras.

Su fiesta la de Austin canturiense lo celebra la iglesia católica el último día del año.

La iglesia es una institución religiosa pero tambien temporal y eso lo supieron entender bien los ingleses con su acendrado talante nacionalista (para ellos el papa no es más que un mandatario extranjero) y la tradición siguiendo una creencia secular en el medievo "iglesia, mar o casa real" en Canterbury siempre se sentaron los bastardos. El propio interesado con toda humildad lo explica en una pastoral exonerando a su madre de posibles culpas. El padre legitimo del que llegaría a asentar sus posaderas en la silla primada era alcohólico por lo visto (vaya por Dios pero a mí no me parece congruente la disculpa pienso que un adulterio siempre será un adulterio un gran pecado según la ley judía y el Derecho Canónico) y en esas estamos.

A este respecto recuerdo una anécdota. Ocurrió en Madrid en tiempos del obispo Eijo Garay. El ministro Ibáñez Martin que tenía fama de carca había invitado a su mesa al obispo complutense y patriarca de las Indias Occidentales el susodicho Eijo.

Ibañez Martin era sordo como una tapia y aquella noche no había comparecido a la cena de autoridades con el correspondiente sonotone que siempre portaba a la oreja.

Empezaron el ágape, sirvieron la sopa. Por decir algo el prelado le preguntó al ministro por su señora.

--- ¿Cómo está su mujer, señor ministro?

--- ¿Eh?

--- Que si está ya buena su mujer. Me han dicho que tiene gripe.

El interpelado creía que le preguntaban por la sopa.

--- Muy buena y muy caliente. Se la recomiendo a usted de todo punto, señor ministro.

Turquía desmiente apoyo a batallón de tártaros de Crimea en Ucrania

Los hackers están seguros de que Kiev está en busca de un "patrocinador político", que se encargue de los problemas del país, ya que el apoyo de EEUU y la UE no es suficiente. Es probable que las autoridades de Ucrania esperan contar con el apoyo de Turquía.
Según Ciberbérkut, Turquía, tras perder hace unos 300 años los territorios en la costa norte del mar Negro, espera recuperarlos. Parece que Turquía cree que ya es hora de hacerlo, teniendo en cuenta el apoyo de Erdogan a los extremistas ucranianos.
"No es una coincidencia que Erdogan apoye a los nacionalistas tártaros Mustafá Dzhemílev y Refat Chubárov. Lo hace para promover a sus ‘marionetas’ ante las autoridades ucranianas", comentaron los hackers

Félix de Azúa ha montado un pollo pelao gratis y queriendo, adrede, como sabrás. Preguntado por Ada Colau, no se detuvo en barras y la mandó al mandil: «debería estar sirviendo en un puesto de pescado». Desde entonces, la regidora sufre una aguda desorientación laboral, ya que un concjejal del PP le había mandado antes a otro de sus «destinos naturales», a limpiar suelos. A la Colau le angustia el dilema de a quién hacer caso, pues aquí el consejo le viene, al parecer, de gente muy culta o con mucha autoridad en la materia, en la plaza y en las «tareas propias de su sexo».
Al De Azúa ya le llovió de todo, encendió las redes. Es lo que quería. Y buscaba tremensdismo: «además dejaré de publicar, me voy a regar mi huerto», dijo desde su altanera altura académica recién estrenada (cuando estás en una nube, ¿te nublas?). Es su juego. Allá él. Pero llama la atención que haya sido tan preciso y barroco en su insultante desprecio, porque Félix de Azúa es escritor fino y sabe elegir cada palabra para lucir amplios conocimientos y un sarcasmo labradito. Podría haberla dibujado como pescadera, dueña al menos de su negocio o local (y ya le valía), pero le rebajó aún más el rango, «sirvienta de un puesto de pescados», como fijando que la señora alcaldesa alcanzaría a duras penas ese nivelazo profesional.
No, hija, no... a servir.
Se ve que al De Azúa le espanta mucho la Colau, a quien también retrata en etarra o sube a un tanque ruso de Praga. Viviendo en Barcelona, parece aterrado de ver pescaderas en un Saló de Cent hecho lonja de rojo y mugre y no a inteligencias sutiles como la suya recitando padrenuestros a derechas, como Dios manda, y no en plan poetisa verdulera de la Mare de Deu, collons, caca-culo-pedo-pis.
Sócrates dice: si además de llamarle pescadera y limpiadora, le ponen un collar de perlas y un cardado en toda regla, ¿no estarían hablando de su mejor alcaldesa, Rita Barberá?, ¿no era ella quien partía el bacalao repartido en su untamiento?, ¿no limpiaba también el dinero gocho del partido?... pescaerita ella, zí zeñó, y mu limpiaora y arreglá.

Convencidos de que «el futuro está en Internet y en las redes sociales», una veintena de escritores de España y Latinoamérica han creado Zenda, una web literaria independiente o, como la define Arturo Pérez-Reverte, su editor y cofundador, «un territorio de libros, amigos y aventura».
En este espacio digital, que comienza su andadura el miércoles en la dirección web zendalibros.com, participan los escritores y académicos leoneses Luis Mateo Díez y José María Merino. Junto a ellos, Javier Marías y Almudena Grandes, los mexicanos Élmer Mendoza y Xavier Velasco, el argentino Jorge Fernández Díaz y la puertorriqueña Mayra Santos-Febres, entre otros.
Se trata, afirma Pérez-Reverte, de «un lugar libre donde encontrarse, un espacio hecho por escritores en el que habrá de todo, desde reseñas de libros interesantes y adelantos editoriales hasta artículos, blogs, entrevistas, críticas literarias, noticias y foros».
«Transitar por este lugar será compartir territorio con todos nosotros», asegura el autor de El Club Dumas, quien cree que Zenda tendrá «un fuerte atractivo para lectores, periodistas, editores, escritores, agentes literarios, autores noveles, libreros y todos los interesados en el mundo de la literatura a ambos lados del Atlántico».
Un puente con sudamérica
«Será un excelente puente con América Latina. Todos nos beneficiaremos con esta iniciativa. Cada escritor aportará a Zenda sus lectores, su capital literario, su talento, y, a cambio, recibirá apoyo cuando publique un libro nuevo o tenga algo que contar», dice Pérez-Reverte.
Dirigida por el periodista Leandro Pérez Miguel, Zenda contará también con las aportaciones de los escritores Marta Sanz, José María Guelbenzu, Juan Gómez-Jurado, Agustín Fernández Mallo, Dolores Redondo, Juan Eslava Galán, Antonio Lucas, Ramón Pernas y José Manuel Sánchez Ron.
La idea de la web, que tendrá sucursales como @zendalibros en las principales redes sociales, surgió «hace unos seis meses» en conversaciones de Pérez-Reverte con Marías, Merino, Mateo Díez, Almudena Grandes y Lucas, entre otros, conscientes de que los suplementos literarios han ido perdiendo lectores. «El futuro está en internet y en las redes sociales».
Pero, «no se trata de competir con nadie ni de quitarles lectores a los suplementos, sino de crear un lugar más neutral», aclara el autor de «Hombres buenos», quien desde el principio se comprometió a poner en marcha el proyecto. Habló con otros escritores, con críticos y periodistas, «y a todos les encantó la idea».
Y es que en Zenda (el nombre está tomado de la novela «El prisionero de Zenda», del británico Anthony Hoppe Hawkins), también firmaron críticos como Santos Sanz Villanueva, José María Pozuelo Yvancos, Enrique Turpín, José Belmonte y José Luis Martín Nogales, y periodistas como Juan Cruz, Sergio Vila-Sanjuán, Manuel Jabois, Berna González Harbour y Manuel Llorente.
De entrada, el próximo miércoles Zenda ofrecerá una conversación entre Pérez-Reverte y Marías, un blog de Juan Gómez-Jurado y artículos de Marta Sanz, Fernández Mallo, Élmer Mendoza, Juan Cruz o Sergio Vila-Sanjuán.
Pero, como explica Leandro Pérez a Efe, habrá más: «un inédito de Luis Mateo Díez, un retrato legendario de García Márquez, un foro, blogs, críticas literarias y la cambiante

 

 

 

JUAN LÓPEZ DE SEGOVIA PRIMER TRADUCTOR DEL CORÁN AL LATIN Y BENEFICIADO DE SANTA COLUMBA

 

Como apéndice al magnífico artículo de Guillermo Herranz, persona entrañable para mí y uno de los eximios libreros de nuestra ciudad ▬ siempre a pie de obra y sacando adelante un negocio difícil en los tiempos circulantes; el buen bibliognosta archiva conocimientos y cuando escribe dice lo que interesa▬ quisiera agregar algo de mi cosecha.

Don Guillermo cuenta cómo su padre fue uno de los últimos bautizados en la desaparecida iglesia de santa Columba, templo románico donde se celebró la primera catorcena cabe los arcos del acueducto.

Bien. A dicho presbiterio perteneció, y también al cabildo catedralicio, como beneficiado y acaso párroco un converso insigne  Fray Juan López de Segovia (Segovia 1440-Roma 1496) el primer traductor del Alcorán y autor de la famosa alegoría de corte oriental “Calila e Dima”, obra muy estudiada con grandes elogios por el profesor Valbuena Prats al que tuve la suerte de tener como profesor de Literatura Medieval en la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, hace más de cuarenta años.

Juan López había nacido de una familia de sastres y tejedores en el alfoz extramuros de Santa Columba. Un hecho no aclarado en su juventud, acaso los misteriosos sucesos que se obraron en la parroquia de san Facundo, determinó su conversión al catolicismo. Fueron muchos los segovianos de origen semita de las dos religiones monoteístas que pidieron las aguas de gracia. No hay constancia histórica de tal hecho. Sí; la hay de que fue uno de los protegidos del gran obispo Arias Davila que provenía de la Casa de Israel, promotor del Sínodo de Aguilafuente. Los Sinodales fueron el primer libro impreso en castellano el año de 1478.

Cuentan las crónicas que  su decisión de abrazar la fe de Cristo le supondría malquistarse con su familia y no pocas persecuciones y befas al clérigo de origen judío. Profesó en la orden jerónima.

Conque huye a Roma. En la ciudad Eterna se acoge al altana y el papa Inocencio III. El papa le designa nada menos que penitenciario general para absolver los pecados reservados. Pero allá no se libró de los varapalos y persecuciones (acaso por su origen) que lo tuvieron en entredicho. Dio con sus huesos en una celda del castillo de Santangelo.

Ya en prisiones mandó pintar un cuadro de la Verónica, según sus biógrafos, con el epígrafe siguiente: “O Christe, praeter te, nullus est alius” (Dulce Jesús, sólo tú me ayudas y me comprendes) y en la cárcel papal acabó sus días.

Había tomado la borla como doctor en teología en Salamanca y en 1462 algunos meses después de ordenarse de presbítero escribe “Refutación contra el alfaquí mayor de la aljama de Segovia, Içe Gebir: Suma de los mandamientos de Cuná o Ley Coránica”. Donde  asegura ser materia de herejía gran parte de los versículos del Libro escrito por Mahoma al dictado de un ángel.

Era fluente tanto en la lengua latina, arábiga, y en la hebrea que aprendió de niño de bocas de sus mayores. El libro puso en pie de guerra a la morería. Afortunadamente, en estos años de la baja edad media, cuando hasta las verduleras sabían de teología, las disertaciones teológicas estaban a la orden del día y los debates entre las tres religiones, gracias a un cierto nivel de tolerancia en la Castilla de Enrique IV, no acababan en batallas campales. Ni salían a relucir las navajas. Imperaba el criterio de que el pensamiento no delinque y se cotejaban pareceres en la plaza pública.

Pienso que este clérigo segoviano cuya personalidad no ha sido lo suficientemente estudiada ▬ su obra está ahí ▬cobra singular importancia en la actualidad.  Juan López de Segovia asumía las tres grandes características de la raza: a) amor a la ciencia y al progreso al socaire de un cierto inconformismo; b) independencia de criterio hasta el sacrificio, pues sabía que remaba contra corriente en medio de una sociedad remolona; c) fervoroso amor a la tradición y su preparación y búsqueda, tan propia del ambiente a redropelo, y su fe en Jesucristo. Mucho se habla de la furia del converso.

En el alma de López de Segovia arde el mismo fuego que inflamó de celo católico a la gran Teresa. Al atreverse a verter el Alcorán y tenérselas tiesas con los ulemas de la capital demostró su encomiable gallardía espiritual. Estoy seguro que a este  fraile, de vocación tardía, bautizado ya de joven, en contra de la voluntad de sus padres, en la pila de agua bendita de santa Columba, el Señor habrá inscrito su nombre en el Libro de la Vida.

Siempre es bueno que los judíos vayan a su aire. Dicen que la historia empieza cuando uno del pueblo elegido dice que no.

VARGAS LLOSA ES UN MAL ESCRITOR

BUENO, pues, estos son lentejas: a la Azanara doña Botella la han colocado en un puesto importante en Naciones Unidas. Funciona la puerta giratoria. La política española es un saladero integrado por arribistas ladrones y salteadores, que luego se van de rositas y aquí pagan justos por pecadores. El emblema de esta sociedad es un escritor que exhibe una detandura como las teclas de un piano y lleva un mandil que se asoma detras de su sonrisa felina y se llama Vargas Llosa. Un nobel de literatura que compone novelas pésimas (mira que me gustan los libros pero he sido incapaz de terminar ninguno de sus bodrios) y es una desgracia para las letras hispanas. Pero ahí está posando en las revistas de papel estucado. Le ha tocado la china capuchina. Dicen que es una devoradora de hombres. Cuatro maridos en su cuenta y oltros tantos divorcios. Yo me pregunto que qué tendrá que ver el culo con las témporas. Y la literatura con el papel cuché. El único gran premio Nobel fue Camilo José Cela. Y no este perulero, que nos sonroja a tantos y tantos escritores en comprobando que el arte se ha llenado de mandiles prostitutos. Aquí funciona la corrupción tan bien como las puertas giratorias. Me parece que los que leen a Vargas entre ellos toda la clase política de la derechona son gente sospechosa.

La exaltación del catalanismo ▬cualquier circunstancia se aprovecha para glorificar ese sentimiento patriótico regionalista corto de alcances que va a dar finiquito a seis siglos de unidad española: la muerte de un futbolista holandés, incluso el accidente de unos becarios Erasmus en Tarragona. Mismamente, el control de nuestras multas de tráfico está en manos de una leridana una tal Seguí dineros para las arcas de la independencia▬ arremete contra las esencias de la verdad histórica. Nada tan español como la palabra mozo de escuadra. Era una unidad de la infantería con que operaban los Tercios Viejos. Tropas de asalto. Los mozos de escuadra eran los que pusieron una pica en Flandes, infantería pura y dura, curtidos en el cuerpo a cuerpo y manejando la pica que era la reina de las armas por aquel entonces.
